Phelps County Bank's MasterCard® debit card holders are eligible to register for MasterCard® SecureCode™.  SecureCode™ is a service that helps protect MasterCard® accounts against unauthorized Internet-based transactions.  You will be asked to select a personal code for Internet-based transactions. 

How does it work?
When a Mastercard® cardholder uses his or her card for an Internet purchase at a participating merchant, a pop-up window displays requesting the cardholder to enter their personal code in much the same way that you enter a PIN number during face-to-face transactions.  Your new personal code is only used for Internet-based transactions.  You will still use your PIN for all ATM and face-to face debit transactions.
