 We have been notified by several customers that they received a fraudulent phone recording from a party claming to be from Phelps County Bank. The recording tells the customer that their debit card has been deactivated. The recording then asks for the following information:
1) Debit card number
2) Expiration month
3) Expiration year
4) CVV code from the back of the card
This call is NOT initiated by Phelps County Bank. We will never initiate a call and ask you for this personal information.
