Student Loans

PCB has a long standing commitment to providing support for education including a complete line of student loans for college and qualified vocational and trade schools. PCB is an "Open Door Lender" meaning there is no requirement to obtain a student loan from us. The following loans are available to anyone in the State of Missouri.

Stafford Loans - Subsidized

This loan is called a "subsidized" loan because the federal government pays the interest when:

• You are continuously enrolled in school at least half time (in some instances you must be full time)
• You are in your grace period
• You have been granted a deferment
  

Stafford Loans - Unsubsidized

Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans have all the same terms and conditions as subsidized Stafford Loans except the borrower is responsible for all interest that accrues on the loan.

Federal PLUS Loans

The Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) allows parents to obtain educational loans for their dependent students. PLUS loans are not based on "need", a parent cannot receive more than the educational costs minus any other scholarships, grants or other aid for which the student is eligible.
