PC Bee's 2010 Calendar

February 10th- 11:30 Soup & a Movie—Julie and Julia—Cute story about a young woman who decides to try everyone of Julia Child’s recipes in her cookbook. This will be held at Phelps County Bank's Boardroom. The cost is $4.00 a person. RSVP by Feb 5 please.

February 16th– 2:00 “Tea & Tell” Program on what to look for in a digital camera, it’s functions, what those “mega pixels” mean, etc. Rob from "Picture This", will be our speaker. RSVP by Feb 12

February 18th– Final RSVP for the musical "Legally Blonde" This is a fun show for all ages. Transportation to the Fox Theater, performance and lunch for only $85.00!

March 10th– 11:30 Quarterly Luncheon– TBA. Guest speaker, Anthony Perona will present valuable information on basic computer security including anti-malware, software updates, and everything you’ve always wanted to ask, but didn't know who to ask.

March 14th—Jesse Auditorium on Missouri’s University Campus for “In the Mood”. Much more than a concert, “In the Mood” takes a retro look at the life and times of America’s greatest generation. It features singers and dancers with the sensational String of Pearls Big Band Orchestra. $85.00 includes transportation, show ticket and lunch.

March 21st-27th – Bus trip to Savannah, Jekyll Island and Beaufort South Carolina. 6 nights lodging, 10 meals, tours, and travel insurance included. A great value and only a few seats left. $615.00 double

April 11th – Legally Blonde at the Fox Theater-2:00 matinee with lunch

April 20th—Tea & Tell-2:00 Rolla’s Environmental Services will present a factual program on our local recycling facility. Lots of good information and handouts.

May 10th – Mother’s Day trip Lunch and Fashion Show at the Tea Room in Clayton, MO

May 18th—Mystery Trip! Don’t miss it, its going to be fun! A “Best Off Beat” Attraction!

June 6th – Spring House and Garden Tour in Lafayette Square– 11 homes and 8 gardens, lunch at SqWires in Lafayette Square, antiques on sale, art exhibit and sale, wine tasting, vintage baseball, horse drawn carriage rides, etc

June 19th-25th – A seven day trip to the Southwest National Parks featuring the Red Cliffs Lodge

June 29th-30th- Two day trip to Springfield, Illinois to the Lincoln Museum and more!

July 12th-15th—Tunica for Gaming, Golf, and Graceland! A value tour to the gaming capital of the Midwest! 5 days, 4 nights for $379.00 including insurance.

July 28th– Stages Production of “Promises, Promises”

August 17th—”Tea & Tell” 2:00 Marcia Ridley will teach us how to play “Texas Hold ‘em” Snacks and card games on a hot afternoon. PCB Boardroom

August 26th— It’s Italian! – A walking tour and progressive tasting tour of the “Hill” in St. Louis with Joe De Gregorio—Get a firsthand look of the history, culture and pride of his beloved neighborhood in an entertaining and enlightening way that only a “native” can provide!

September 8th -Quarterly Luncheon—picnic at Lion’s Club Park

September 21st—”Tea & Tell”– 2:00 PCB Boardroom Vicky from RMU will give us information on how to make our homes more energy efficient. Lots of useful info to save us money while improving the environment.

September 30th -October 7th - Highlights of Switzerland featuring Zermatt, Bern & and Montreux. One hotel only!

October 19th —”Tea & Tell”—2:00 PCB Boardroom—Fall flower arranging just in time for the holidays.

November 13th and 14th—Grandparents Trip "Christmas in Branson". This over night trip to Brasnson is a great way to treat your grandchildren this Christmas. Arrive in Branson for some free time at the Hotel and then off to dinner and a show at the "Dixie Stampede" for some Holiday fun. You will also experience "The Polar Express", meet Santa, and do some coroling. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas! Before returning to the hotel enjoy a drive through Christmas Light Display. Tour includes all activites, 2 meals, Deluxe Motor Coach Transportaion, bank escort, and all gratuities. November 16th- “Tea & Tell”-2:00 Jewelry making—come make a pair of Christmas earrings for yourself or for a gift.

December ?? - A 4 day bus trip for “An Opryland Christmas Celebration”, Nashville, Ten.— Date will be first or second week of December. Details to come!

December 15th—Christmas Luncheon and Cookie contest.
