How do I know my money is safe with PCB?

Your PCB deposit accounts are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). To find out how FDIC deposit insurance works, check out their web site.

What is PCB’s routing number?

What is MasterCard® SecureCode™?

MasterCard® SecureCode™ is a service that helps protect MasterCard® debit card accounts against unauthorized Internet-based transactions.  PCB's MasterCard® debit card holders are automatically enrolled in this service.  

How does MasterCard® SecureCode™ work?

As a MasterCard® cardholder when you use your card for an Internet purchase at a participating merchant, you may be asked to verify the last four digits of your Social Security Number, the card's expiration date, and your billing zip code.  You will still use your PIN for all ATM and face-to-face debit transactions.

How do I register for MasterCard® SecureCode™?

Every PCB Mastercard® debit card is automatically enrolled. 

e-Statements

How do I sign up for e-Statements?

E-Statements are available through PCB’s Internet Banking.  Once signed into your Internet Banking, you can click on the e-Statements tab, answer the appropriate questions, accept the agreement and you will have access to your e-Statements.

Is there a fee to receive e-Statements?

No.  There is not a fee for e-Statements.

Is my statement information secure with e-Statements?

Yes.  All Internet Banking activity is encrypted, including e-Statements.

Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail?

No.  Once you sign up for e-Statements you will no longer receive paper statements.

Internet Banking

I'm using Apple Safari 5.1.4 or 5.1.5 and can't see my transactions or pay bills. What's wrong?

On March 12, 2012, Apple released Safari 5.1.4.  This release and subsequent release of Safari 5.1.5 exhibits problems displaying PCB's Internet Banking website.  This issue has been corrected in Apple Safari 5.17 and later.  Download Safari now!

I'm having issues with Internet Banking. How can I troubleshoot my problem?

Common problems can be resolved by following the steps in our browser troubleshooting guide.  For further assistance, please contact e-Banking support.

I forgot my Internet Banking ID and/or password. What should I do?

Password

If you have forgotten your password: 

  • On the Internet Banking login page, enter your User ID and click Go.
  • Choose the Forgot Your Password? link.
  • Enter your Internet Banking ID, e-mail address, and a subject line for the e-mail that will be sent to you.
  • Choose Submit.
  • An e-mail with a link to reset your password will be e-mailed to you.

 

If you receive a message that says, “Password self reset is not enabled on your account,” you must call e-Banking support to have your password reset.  For your protection, we do not take requests for password resets via e-mail.

Internet Banking ID

If you have forgotten your Internet Banking ID, or if you do not have a valid e-mail address on file, please call e-Banking support for assistance. For your protection, we do not take requests for Internet Banking IDs resets via e-mail.

How do I change my password?

In the Internet Banking system, choose Options, then Personal.  You can change your password under the section Modify Login Information.

How often do I have to change my password?

For your protection, our Internet Banking system requires you to change your password at least once every 180 calendar days.

What are the Internet Banking User ID/password requirements?

User IDs must be between 4 and 15 characters in length and may contain letters, numbers, and the following special characters:  + _ % @ ! $ & * ~

Passwords must be between 6 and 20 characters and are case sensitive.  Passwords must contain letters and numbers.

How do I change my e-mail address in Internet Banking?

In the Internet Banking system, choose Options, then Personal.  You can change your e-mail address under the section Modify Personal Settings.

I share accounts with another person. Can we share our Internet Banking login?

For security reasons we recommend that our customers do not share Internet Banking login information.  Our e-Banking support center will be glad to set up a separate Internet Banking account for the other person.

What is enhanced Internet Banking security?

Enhanced Internet Banking Security is another level of protection for you and your accounts. Each time you log in, we show you an image that's unique to your account.  Additionally, you will be required to set up three security questions in which only you will know the answers.  If you roam to a foreign Internet service, you may be required to answer those questions.

How do I change my enhanced Internet Banking security information?

To change your personal image, log into PCB’s Internet Banking system, choose Options, Personal and Modify Personal Settings

To change your password, log into PCB’s Internet Banking system, choose Options, Personal and Modify Login Information.

To change your security questions, please call e-Banking support for assistance.

I received a message that my session logged me out. Why?

For security reasons, the system will automatically and securely log you off after 10 minutes of inactivity.  You may log back in at any time.

Can I import my account transactions into Quicken® or QuickBooks®?

You can download your transactions into Quicken® or QuickBooks® from within Internet Banking.  Once you are in Internet Banking, simply select the Download option from the drop down box for the account you wish to import into your money management software.

Intuit, the makers of Quicken® and QuickBooks®, supports WebConnect Express, which allows you to download transactions directly into Quicken® and QuickBooks®.  Intuit has developed an excellent online resource center that can help you troubleshoot most problems related to WebConnect Express.

PCB supports transaction import into the most current version and the previous two versions of Quicken® and QuickBooks®.

Does PCB support online services such as Mint.com?

While PCB supports our own Internet Banking product, we cannot support the import of your financial data into services such as Mint.com.  Many users have found that the import is successful.  However, PCB maintains no control over the services provided by these third parties.  They are independent, web-based services and are not endorsed by PCB.  Users of such services are encouraged to thoroughly review the provider's privacy policy and terms of use before proceeding with the services.

All service packs and security patches must be in place as well.  If you are not using one of these supported browsers, you may experience issues with Internet Banking.  If this occurs, please download one of the browsers listed.  PCB doesn't support the use of browser add-ins or plug-ins.

PCB Mobile

What operating system (OS) version does my device need for PCB Mobile?

PCB supports the current version of PCB Mobile on the following:

  • Apple iOS 4.0 or later on the iPhone, iPad or iPod
  • Android OS 2.2 Level 8 or later on the Android device
  • Standard web browser for your mobile device

How do I change my password on PCB Mobile for the iPhone or Android?

At the present time PCB Mobile for the iPhone and PCB Mobile for the Android do not allow changes to your Internet Banking password.  We are working to add this feature for a later release of the PCB Mobile apps.  However, you can change your password at the PCB Mobile website or on Internet Banking.

Why can't I see all of my accounts on PCB Mobile?

The most likely cause for not seeing all of your accounts on PCB Mobile is that your accounts are not all showing on My Accounts page in Internet Banking.  In the Internet Banking system click the Options tab, then click Display, then change the My Accounts radio button to your desired viewing preference.

How do I transfer money from bank to bank?

At the present time, PCB Mobile for the iPhone, PCB Mobile for the Android and the PCB Mobile website don't allow bank-to-bank transfers.  We are working to add this feature for a later release of the PCB Mobile apps.

I'm unable to logon to PCB Mobile via PCB Mobile for the iPhone.

  1. Confirm that your device is able and is connected to the Internet.
  2. Confirm that your device operating system is Apple iOS 4.0 or later.
  3. Ensure your settings are set to “Allow Cookies” and “Enable/Allow Java Scripting”.
  4. Logon to your Internet Banking account to check for proper functionality.  If you receive any error messages, document this information for further troubleshooting.
  5. Attempt to logon to your PCB Mobile account from the mobile web browser again.
  6. If problems persist, please select the “Mobile Info” option from the main menu of PCB Mobile, document this information and contact PCB's e-Banking support.

I'm unable to logon to PCB Mobile via PCB Mobile for the Android.

  1. Confirm that your device is able and is connected to the Internet.
  2. Confirm that your device operating system is Android OS 2.2 Level 8 or later.
  3. Ensure your settings are set to “Allow Cookies” and “Enable/Allow Java Scripting”.
  4. Logon to your Internet Banking account to check for proper functionality.  If you receive any error messages, document this information for further troubleshooting.
  5. Attempt to logon to your PCB Mobile account from the mobile web browser again.
  6. If problems persist, please select the “Mobile Info” option from the main menu of PCB Mobile, document this information and contact PCB's e-Banking support.

I'm unable to logon to PCB Mobile via http://www.phelpscountybank.mobi.

  1. Confirm that your device is able and is connected to the Internet.

What documentation do I need to apply for a mortgage?

Documentation varies based on the mortgage program and type of income and includes, but is not limited to, the following items.

  • Paycheck stubs from the last 30 days
  • W-2 forms for the last 2 years
  • Last 2 years signed federal tax returns, including all schedules
  • Copies of your bank and asset statements for the last 2 months, all pages
  • Driver’s license or government issued photo identification
  • Real estate contract when available
  • Abstract or previous title policy, if you own your land
  • Provide current lender information, if you own your land
  • Real estate applications vary based on loan type
  • Apply online or contact us for an application

What documentation do I need for new construction or renovations?

Documentation varies based on the mortgage program and type of income and includes, but is not limited to, the following items.
